Recruitment firm Canstaff joins Expatland’s Auckland E-Team

Canstaff, a global specialist in construction and engineering recruitment, has joined Expatland’s Auckland E-Team in New Zealand.

With two decades of experience in international recruitment, and offices around the world, including United Kingdom, Philippines, New Zealand and Australia with expansion plans underway into North America. Canstaff finds roles for candidates that meet their skills and experience and propel their career ambitions. The company has vast experience in finding construction and engineering jobs for UK citizens moving to New Zealand or Australia, and for Australians and Kiwis looking for work globally.

Expatland is a resource that supports people all over the globe who are embarking on an expat journey. It is also an imaginary country populated by expats, making it the 5th largest country on the planet, inhabited by 244 million people and growing fast. Collectively these expats are known as the 3% changing the world.

Expatland began as a book, written in 2015 by John Marcarian. Through travelling extensively and working with expat clients in his role at CST Tax Advisors, John developed an ‘expat survival guide’, with advice, statistics and a step-by-step plan for smooth expat integration into a new City.

Auckland’s E-Team is a network of expat service providers brought together under the banner of Expatland to provide a proactive solution to the problems faced by ‘unsupported expats’ making a move to New Zealand’s largest City.

Each E-Team member also lends their specialist knowledge to writing chapters of an Auckland City guide version of Expatland, which is free-to-download and packed with locally-focused advice, tips and case studies

Expatland is quickly spreading across the world with E-Teams in Sydney, Melbourne, LA, London and Singapore in addition to Auckland, with more cities to follow.

John Marcarian, founder, Expatland says, “Canstaff’s representatives will be an excellent addition to our E-Teams, providing support to those seeking a new life in New Zealand who are looking for a professional role in the construction or engineering sectors.

“Canstaff’s experience in matching candidates to roles that reflect their experience and career ambitions is impressive. Its recruiters understand the daunting nature of deciding to live and work in a new country and they offer excellent consultancy. I have no doubt that they will provide a first-class service to expats seeking recruitment help from our E-Teams in Auckland.”

Matt Jones, Managing Director, Canstaff, comments: “Canstaff are proud to be part of a leading global network supporting expats with high quality advice and guidance.”
