It all started with the book “Expatland”.
A concept created by our founder, John Marcarian, to help make life easier for expats on the move.
What is Expatland?
ExpatlandTM is a virtual country inhabited by 258 million people and growing by a population of 300,000 each month. Currently, it is the 5th largest country in the world.
If you were born in one country and reside in another, then you are a citizen of ExpatlandTM.
What is the Expatland Global Network?
The Expatland Global Network brings together local, reputable service providers in expat cities around the world that deliver the services needed by expats moving to a new city.
Our ‘E-Teams’ of service providers help expats plan and coordinate their move and settle into their new home city once they have arrived.
E-Team members provide services ranging from banking and insurance to medical and education services – even your beloved pet will be looked after by an E-Team member specialising in pet relocations.
What does this mean for you?
If you are moving or recently arrived in a new city, you can rest assured that your needs will be taken care of by a team of professionals that work together on a regular basis.
The Expatland Global Network is owned by the Expatland Giving Back Fund, a non-profit social enterprise that encourages expatriates and their friends to help those in their local communities.
